Hi, I am using PowerVCR II to capture video clips from a Firewire DV source. Works great, but: audio is only captured with a sample rate of 44.100 Hz instead of 48.000 Hz, as needed for PAL DVDs. (Yes, I used one of the "DVD profiles".) There seems to be no way to change this per dialog. (Recording takes time...) Does anyone have a clue?

Hi All, I need a new idea, why my movies written with Nero and using the video stream above the standard values sometimes have problems especially if the stream is higher than 6000, but the standard DVDs are using the better stream and work excellent, showing a very nice picture. I've heard it's not a good idea to mix tape brands so I intend to buy all the same type. - Dixons are selling 2x Sony DVM60 (Excellence) for £29.99 - Argos are selling 3x Sony Tapes for £16.99 (LP90?).
