DVD Architect questions by Eddie
Hi there, I have 2 questions about Sonic DVD Architect 1) Is it possible using this version put "transition video" between 2 menus? I mean: - you push a button - video - new menu. 2) Why when I put "introduction media" I have to specify audio/video in 2 different fields? If I have a mpeg video+audio file, I have to demultiplex to have separate audio/video to use it as an...

Tripod mount camera strap? by Andy Turner
With my JVC vidcam came a strap which screwed into the tripod mount socket on the bottom. This meant that it was almost universal and I swapped it from camera to camera. I lent it my mum last week whilst she went to Vegas and unfortunately her camera got nicked (not whilst it was strapped to her, I hasten to add!). So I figured I'd search for a replacement strap that worked in the same way...

PowerVCR II: Audio Sample Rate by Wolf Ruland
Hi, I am using PowerVCR II to capture video clips from a Firewire DV source. Works great, but: audio is only captured with a sample rate of 44.100 Hz instead of 48.000 Hz, as needed for PAL DVDs. (Yes, I used one of the "DVD profiles".) There seems to be no way to change this per dialog. (Recording takes time...) Does anyone have a clue?

Make your own DVD Movies!!! by Serviceman
you from either digital photos or standard photos.....we take your pictures as supplied, and you supply us with the music you would like as well, we take it all, touch up the photos if required, and add the music. There you have it, a little home movie! You can have two different songs with as many as 100 photos, this keeps the movie to about 10 minutes, any longer than that, and you will have to...

MV600i Camcorder Help! by Mike Doyle
Hi I've recently bought the Canon MV600i Digital Camcorder. It's working fine, but so far transferring videos onto my PC using a firewire with ULead Video Studio and Adobe Premier has been unsuccessful. The software does not seem to detect the camera when it's plugged in, and the manual is largely unhelpful about this. Does the Camcorder require a driver to work on my PC ? The firewire...

Filtering out VHS tape dropouts (white streaks) by Jukka Aho
Does anyone know of a free (or at least inexpensive) tool for filtering out typical VHS tape dropouts (that is, randomly occurring, horizontal, black and white streaks) from captured clips? There is one such filter available as a part of Synthetic Aperture's "VideoFinesse" filter package for Adobe Premiere http://www.synthetic-ap.com/products/vf/index.html, and judging by the trial version...

Watching more than one station with 1 lnb ? by eric
I am able to watch more than one station by using two free to air receivers (one is actually a pc card) but it seems that not all channels like to co-exist, i.e. when I watch certain channels I can watch certain other channels on the second receiver, but not all, and furthermore, with some channels I cannot watch any channels on the second receiver. How does this actually happen, what are...

Video Stream by Dmitri Shvetsov
Hi All, I need a new idea, why my movies written with Nero and using the video stream above the standard values sometimes have problems especially if the stream is higher than 6000, but the standard DVDs are using the better stream and work excellent, showing a very nice picture. The source file is excellent, when I watch this file on TV from the camera I don't see a difference between a real TV...

MiniDV tape recommendations by nospam@home.com
Hi, I'm just buying myself a Sony TRV22 MiniDV camcorder. What type of tape would you recommend for use in this camera. I've heard it's not a good idea to mix tape brands so I intend to buy all the same type. - Dixons are selling 2x Sony DVM60 (Excellence) for £29.99 - Argos are selling 3x Sony Tapes for £16.99 (LP90?).
