Hi All, I have Sony DCR HC18 miniDV camcorder. Recently, its touch screen has become non-responsive, though the camcorder is functioning otherwise normally, i.e. it is recording, playing (on TV, using the remote control for the camcorder), file transfer to PC etc. Any ideas? Thankyou

Help I bought my JVC MG21 thinking it recorded and saved files as Mpeg4, enabling me to down load directly to my PC - Windows Move Maker - but all footage appear to have been save to the camcorder as .MOD files ? Is there any reason why I can't simply copy an avi file to a DVD as a data copy? (Just to back it up). For some reason it tells me it can't be done but I don't know whether it's my DVD writer that's playing up or not

I'm trying to activate the MPEG encoder in Premiere Elements 3.0 2 I copy the serial number it gives, add my location and product etc as requested but then get an error message saying id is required, country is required product is required, despite the fact that I've just entered them. Ladies and gentlemen, Sorry for the intrusion, but I'm up against it time wise. I need to get a clip I have converted into a satiable format to be played by a very old version of quicktime (3.something) I have the clip source in .wmv and .mov. I think it's been encoded using something called H.264

I want to take a Windows Media Player television recording and make it readable on a Macintosh computer running Quicktime. Can I convert it to MPEG2 PAL and then write it to a DVD R disc or is life more complex than that? I have Digital Media Converter on my computer to do the conversion.
