I'm looking for bright ideas on how to mount a camcorder on a go cart to get a steady shot of a lap of the track under race conditions. A DIY counterbalanced steadycam is one consideration, anybody have any other suggestions, or similar practical experience? Jake

I'd like to record my old VHS onto DV-tape so i can edit them on my pc. But since i've got my DV-recorder second hand i dont have a manual. Canon doesn't put them online as i was thinking when i bought it. I got it so far as the sound and video apear on the camcorder by puting it on av-dv mode but there is no record button. I edited a 5 minute programme on Premiere Pro and rendered it to an AVI file before transcoding and burning to DVD with Encore. All played fine in the AVI file but in DVD one of the titles was missing. I have just purchased an additional 160G ATA internal hard drive for capturing AV files onto. I was told by the nice man in PC World that I would need SP2 (I don't have SP1 installed) in order for my PC to operate the new drive.
