I did an OS wipe/reinstall and put my saved presets backs into the presets folder. Hi This is my first post as this is my first camcorder so a complete newbie I am! I have bought a Panasonic NVGS50 from a friend. Suddenly it will not record to film. I'm trying to capture video to an avi file from a digital video camera. Does anyone have a suggestion for a codec that provides minimal compression with sharp images? Uncompressed won't work, because the filesize is too large, but 10-15 gigabytes for an hour of video wouldn't be unreasonable.
