No service by Lee
I'm on Virgin broadband. Having tried everything at my end and failed to get a "reasonable" service...note this is reasonable i.e. web pages open before timing out and failed attempts for around three weeks now I called premium rate to be told the number was for cable only. Another number and got the speed tester to try. I'm stuck now because most of the time I can't run the test, due to it...

HD Television by John[_5_]
I'm thinking of getting an LCD television in the sales. I just have a couple of questions for those more in the know than me. Full 1080 HD Televisions is there a certain size of screen that you have to get or above for full HD, or can you get full HD in most screen sizes? I didn't want to get something too big, maybe only a 26 or 32" screen size. If I was to get a full HD screen, would I still...

NeroVision 3 - Adding Video Files by John[_3_]
Does anyone know if its possible to move a video file in NeroVision 3 so that it doesn't start at 00:00:00.00? So far I have added a video file to my project but when I try and drag it further to the right on the timeline so it starts at about the 2:20 mark after all the opening titles have been shown, it wont let me move it. Seems to be insisting that the video file starts at zero in...

When you are making a DVD in NeroVision Express and you already have sound in your main movie which you want to be the main sound for the movie, is it also possible to add audio tracks below to the audio track 1 and 2 timelines so that you could switch to those tracks instead of the main audio on the video timeline? Do DVD players have an option on the remotes for selecting a different audio...

DVD finilise question by divoch
I am new to DVD recording and have this question: When I record one episode (say a 1hour recording) on DVD-RW and then finalize it so that I can lend it to someone to watch will I be able to then record further episodes without any problems or must I not finalize until all recordings are made? In other words does finalisation affect only the recording(s) made so far but does not affect unused...

Combi DVD/VHS recorders by Tim Streater
Does anyone know if these machines, such as the Panasonic DMR-EZ47VEB-S, can record to tape from a digital signal (it has built-in Freeview). Or do they have an ordinary analogue aerial input for the VHS side. My F-in-law is looking at one of these, but I can't find any answer when googling. It would seem obvious to me you should be able to do that, but perhaps boxes like this are truly...

Editing DVD recording questions by divoch
I am trialing a VideoRemaker . I would like to edit video from the DVD+RW which I recorded from TV. When I ADD video files to the VideoRemaker only two "supported files" VTS_01.IFO and VIDEO_TS.IFO from those in VIDEO_TS folder get displayed . First, I do not know which one to edit? They seem to have the same information? Second, what happens with other files that are in VIDEO_TS folder?...

Simple to use free or inexpensive remaking software? by divoch
"All" I want to do is a simple editing of DVDs that I record from TV on my new Panasonic DVD recorder and then burning new DVD after edit. Recorder can record and read both +RW and -RW discs (in addition to RAM). By a simple editing I mean just deleting some extra recorded video at the start and end of a timer recorded program. If I could simply delete adverts then that would be an...
