| | Lenses for GL2 by
Just D.
Guys,
I need an advice. I'm going to buy these lenses for my Canon GL2.
http://stores.channeladvisor.com/southbaycamera/items/item.aspx?itemid=8393578
These lenses have adapters for all diameters including mine - 58 mm in GL2.
But is it a perfect fit for this camcorder or not? Have anybody tried using
these lenses? Made in Japan, cheaper and much more powerful than native ones
from Canon.

| | wireless cameras - security? by
John Smith
Hi,
Sorry if this is slightly OT...
If anyone is using any good wireless IP cameras for security purposes - both
daylight and night, preferably recording video and perhaps audio also - can
you let me know makes, models, etc?
Thanks,

| | USE £6 TO MAKE THOUSANDS IT REALLY WORKS ! by
laurastecca1982@libero.it
You may have read these letters asking you to send £1 to 6
different addresses. Putting your home address on the internet can be
risky, but through PayPal all you have to provide is your email
address. Its safe and easy. Just go to use the link below and set up
your account! I am not a gullible person and have never trusted things
like this, but I gave it a try, hey its only £6, I figured at...

| | Peak audio levels for PAL DVD? by
BlahDiBlah
Hi folks,
does anyone know what the maximum permissable audio level is for PAL DVD?
When preparing CDs, I usually set my limiter at -0.2dB. However, this seems
to be waaaaay loud for DVD...

| | Bullet cameras by
Wally
Any suggestions for a colour bullet camera that will work with my MiniDV
camcorder? The camcorder is a PAL Panasonic NV-GS5 and has, I believe, a
composite video input. I'm looking for something that will be suitable for
making in-car driving videos.
What's the deal with the TV lines that these things have? I see 350, 380,
and 420 line versions, but I don't know how that relates to the 576...

OK
here is an absolutely basic and newbee question. Many years ago I
bought the above video card for my PC and had no intention of using the

| | HDD Camcorders by
Simon Mayo
Does anyone know of editing programmes that accept .MOD files from a JVC
Everio HDD camcorder? I have searched and found Cyberlink Power Director to
be the best so far but woul dlike to try others if anyone knows of one that

| | .MOD format by
Simon Mayo
I had a great deal of trouble with video editing software not recognising
..MOD files as produced by JVC HDD Camcorders. The nearest I got was Serif
Movieplus 5 which played the Video but not the Audio. However after much
research and some expebse I can report that .MOD files are recognised for
both video and audio in Cyberlink PowerDirector Premium.

| | Premiere (Elements) and Audio/Video sync issue by
Grumps
Hi All
I have Premiere Elements and was going to use this to transfer an old VHS
(amateur drama) onto DVD and add some subtitles.
The VCR is connected to the A/V-in on my camcorder, and this passes through
to the PC via firewire. This all works and I can capture A/V using Premiere.
But what I notice is that the synchronisation of the audio and video slowly
drifts out through the captured AVI....

| | Question about Camtasia by
Luis Ortega
Is anyone familiar with the Camtasia screen recording software to create
tutorials for using various editing software (such as Premiere)?
It costs a bit of money, and there are several shareware programs that are a
fraction of the cost, so is Camtasia worth the money, or will the free
programs do a good enough job?
I would like to record my actions as I navigate around the screen, seeing
