| | Help changing my camera by
Mark Trueman
Hi there
I currently have a sony DCR-PC106e digital handycam. This camera doesnt
have rca input, which i need for attaching a wireless bullet cam and
recording its output.
So im looking to trade the sony in and get something else. I reckon i
might be able to get 125 quid for it on ebay with a bit of luck, so im
asking for suggestions as to what to replace it with. Must be about the
same price...

| | 2nd-hand buying advice for a camcorder please! by
Jonathan
Hi!
I'm not the world's richest man so I am thinking of looking for a
camcorder in the 2nd-hand market (probably eBay), obviously I'll be
looking at models that will be a year or more old so probably won't
show up in High Street shops, I'd like to pick your brains for what you
know about these things! I've only ever used three camcorders before
in my life - one was a very expensive college one,...

| | New camcorder or video capture and keep the old one? by
PacMan
Hi there,
hoping someone can give me some useful hints about this.
I have a number of 8mm tapes stored, and that's the camcorder I'm
currently using, about 4 years old now. I also have some older VHS
tapes, also personal and family recordings.
Now, for a couple of reasons, it makes sense to combine and edit
several of these recordings.

| | Extracting a frame sequence at 25 fps by
FrameExtraction
Which software can I use to extract a frame sequence at 25 fps from a video
file?
Sony Vegas has the script Render Image Sequence but it seems to extract only
one frame every two frames (hence using a time interval of 0,08 sec).

| | Swimming Relay Changeover camera? by
dug
Hi,
I was hoping that some of you may be able to give me some advice. I do
some swim coaching and want to give swimmers immediate feed back on
their relay change overs. I've been considering DV cameras but as my
requirements are so modest I was wondering is a cheap digital camera
may do the trick. I've been considering some low end DV cameras (some
which I've seen described as toys) or...

| | Converting DivX/Xvid to DVD by
Grumps
Hi All
A family member (American) has said how fantastic it is to edit and create
home movies and has sent me a DVD with an XviD on it. I can play this
perfectly in my PC, but my stand-alone DVD player does not take or play
XviDs.
I have tried burning using Nero6 and it works but every second there is a
slight stutter.
I have read the VOB into Premiere Elements and single frame stepped where...

Chris Loffredo
Hi,
I know practically nothing about digital video cameras (including
standards, ect.), so I thought I'd ask here for advice.
My elderly mother has been diagnosed with cancer and wants to document
the whole experience.
What is needed is:

| | Bird Baths by
Palindr☻me
Hi,
I have a neighbour who is no longer physically able to get to a window
or to her garden and is much missing being able to do so.
I have in mind a project which involves two video cameras looking at her
bird bath..(feathered kind, before you get too excited). The composite
video signals from those end up in the adjacent house, where she can see
them on her TV/computer screen.

franklin.sr@gmail.com
Jerry in your world of black and white tell me something.
When you posted text you 'stole' from creativecow regarding the new
version of Vegas, did you ask for their permission to do so before you
did it?
I'd suggest that you didn't, and I'd suggest they probably would care
either, but under YOUR terms of reference you are a scumbag thief. You
took advertising revenue from the mouths of the...
