In an effort to try to cure the Dropped frame problem, I ditched studio 8 and got Vegas 4. Vegas is extremely good, With more control over the edit than Studio offers and no glitches at all. Hi all I am having a problem with capturing about 5 seconds of film from my dv camera into the pc its ghosting as if its reading the tape and then laying over the same peice of tape with a slight gap.
