which sony?? TRV19 or PC8 by pacman
I have a DCR PC9 and I am very pleased with the camera, i think models are very similar. DV IN/OUT works very well, image quality is very good and i think it has good mic, very effective at wind conditions. It does a good job converting analog to digital. Pacman "vanes" wrote in message

Why is Tony Morgan tolerated in here? by Tony Morgan
In message , sherlock writes Snipped personal abuse... It's a pity that you haven't a single brain cell capable of contributing *anything* to this newsgroup. You really ought to get out more and try to pick up some inter-personal skills.

I am unable to get Studio 8 to output a rendered video to my DV camcorder via th IEEE-1394 link. The camcorder starts and the tape advances by the duration of the rendered video but nothing is recorded. My PanasonicCamcorder model NV-DS33 has had the DV-in enabled. Can anyone advise how I can overcome this problem please. Gordon Wilkinson

codecs by david.donegan
Would I get better results when using Vegas 4 to render as avi and then convert to mpeg2 using something like procoder or just keep it simple and use main concept plug-in for Vegas mpegs? Thanks for any answers.

question re piracy/legality by Laurence Payne
If I have a film bought new on VHS in the early 90s, am I entitled to download a digital copy of it, for the higher quality, or do I have to pay for it again? (in which case forget it!) Download from where? Any file available for download isn't going to be better quality than the VHS. Anyway, you know the answer perfectly well. :-)

New Camcorder Reviews by Steve
Hi, I am considering buying a new camcorder and am a little lost with regard to which one to go for. I am a little sweet on the new Canon MV6iMC but as it is quite new I don't expect to see a magazine review for a while. can anyone suggest a good active Website that has reviews and comments from real users that I might find useful for some research. Thanks.........
