it if and when I get a new one.
Whick leads me on to my question............

| | Simple sound set up for a wedding by
Trev Worsey
Hi there,
look slike this is an excellent group for information. Here is my
question, I have been asked to cover my friends wedding, not for
profit but just as a favor. I want to get a more documentary feel than
the 'proper' video, you know a bit of stuff about the build up and
then cover the big day - my friends are mid 20s and very music
orientated so I want to put out someting a bit more...

| | still shots by
Linedancer
Has anyone used the still shot facility on the Panasonic NV DS 65, if so
what's the verdict ?
and do we need to buy a photo quality printer to print them on photo
paper,( we have an Epsom 440 inkjet printer)
We have taken just one shot as an experiment, it prints up actually darker
than it is.
TIA

| | Mauve colour caste on JVC Digicam video by
DavidM
I have a JVC DVL9600 digital camcorder.
When taking pictures which include blue sky and
sunshine I often get a mauve colour caste over sections
of the blue sky, which moves around as the scene
changes. This colour caste doesn't show up too
much on the camera lcd screen, but is very
noticable when the video is played on the PC,
and then subsequently converted onto DVD
and played on the TV.

| | made anything interesting? by
Dr Video
If you've made a short vid which you think may interest a number of
people, or a niche group, maybe, I've a site which might show it:
http://www.peoples-tv.co.uk
Its broadband only (500k or better for reasonable performance, 300k
just-about), and operates on a part pay and part free VOD basis.
Have a look for yourself.

I can encode to m2v file then authoring seems a problem ?
What do you use for basic dvd creation that doesn't cost the earth
someone just suggested this " Within Premiere 6.5 you have to export mpg
files not m2v to be able to
encode them with nero. To author and...

Rosie
Should a DVD-R of Home videos created on the E60 play on a PC DVD
reader, like a Pioneer a106? Having tested this it looks like no as it
'hangs' using Power DVD 5.
Thanks

Could somebody please explain to me the difference between the
Panasonic NV-DS 60 and the Panasonic NV-DS 60B? Is there a
difference, or are they (as I suspect) the same model?
Thanks,
John

My initial thought was to have a setup like this:
