| If you don't have the main concept mpeg plug-in for Vegas but have a stand alone version of main concept 1.2 mpeg encoder, is there a way of integrating with Vegas? If not what would be the best 'format' to source within the encoder from Vegas before output to mpeg1 or 2? Thanks for any advice or abuse. |

AFAIK stand-alones work differently than plug-ins. Usually when you buy a stand-alone you get the plug-in included. For this reason (I assume) I've never seen a solution (or a requirement for) patching a stand-alone for use as a plug-in. Having said all that, you *could* try copying the DLL. GID and Help files from the stand-alone and putting in a folder in the File IO Plug-Ins folder. -- Tony Morgan http://www.camcord.info |
