Default Editing software advice.

Take the proffesionals advice, like I didn't and leave pinnacle on the shelf.
I have never used such a bug ridden piece of junk as this ever before.
This is true of studio 7 and 8,although 8 dosn't seem to mess things up
as much, only in a different way!
I refer to the bugs where scenes are left out, duplicated, titles not doing
what you want, audio not real time, the list goes on.If you can understand
Adobe premier (like I cant) and can afford it,go for it!

I've just got a JVC DV camcorder and have messed about with the bundled
software but would like something better for when I've got used to the
camera.

I've read this forum and have seen several mentioned, Pinnacle, Premiere
etc., I will never want to remake El Cid or pay a fortune for it but I'd
be grateful for a bit of advice as to which software to buy.

Thanks in advance.

Mike
