Default Blank DV tape

Is there a quick way to erase everything on a DV tape? When I transfer my
clips to the hard disk and edit the movie I would like to place the
completed movie back on the same DV tape but would prefer if it was blank.
Thanks,
emcl

I expect someone makes a bulk eraser. At a price :-)
What's wrong with the erase head in your camera?
Why worry anyway?

I don't know what's wrong with these guys. They did not answer
Laurence's question but said why do you need to erase your tape, why
not keep the footage, dv tape is cheap.....blablabla...

Something wrong with your eyes (or do you have limited powers of
comprehension)? The response "I expect someone makes a bulk eraser" can
easily be acted upon (though perhaps you find that too difficult) - help
is at hand.... try a Google search on "bulk tape eraser". I'm sure that
emcl is just as capable of doing that as Laurence.

If you're another troll, then you're not welcome here.

I like you. You remind me of when I was young and stupid.

Tony may be a bit abrupt at times, but never a troll.

(he may argue, but rarely starts the argument)

Dave R is just ****ed because I put him in my kill-file. I kill-filed
him because he has nothing to contribute - as demonstrated by his post
here. Now he follows me about with this sort of post.

Sad, sad person. He really ought to get out more...
