| To Pinnacle DV500+ users. Has any user come across any unusual, perhaps intermittent, incorrect hue output? My system will produce colour bars as below, then correct itself, normall only once a session. http://138.253.27.60:8080/myimage.jpg Would like to know what other users may have discovered to correct the problem. TIA |

| Peter Watt wrote in message ... YES Although the image was repeated in a window on the computer screen and captured using Pinnacle DVTOOLS. Using Premiere, it is only ever seen on the monitor connected to the breakout. Pinnacle have made the usual suggestion re latest drivers but this problem still persists. That looks like green is missing completely, so it may be a hardware problem (eg a microscopic fracture on the circuit board or even within a chip on the card). Next time it happens, try flexing the card slightly - if the problem corrects itself, that's what's wrong. Often this kind of problem is temperature dependent (known as 'warm-up faults'). If you're lucky, and the problem only occurs when the system is cold, just let it warm up for 5 minutes before you do any work. If it's the other way round, you're probably looking at a replacement card, unfortunately. HTH -- Rob |

| Rob Interestingly this feature occurs typically once a session and toward the beginning of the session (within 15 mins) and then will not repeat. I get the feeling I once effected a correction by running DVtools and then back to Premiere. P Watt Rob Hemmings wrote in message ... "Peter Watt" wrote in message ... To Pinnacle DV500+ users.
