Default zoom facility in any edit software?

I've just taken digital video footage of a wedding service from a camcorder
mounted on a tripod (I was a the father of the groom and obliged to stay in
my appointed seat). The lack of variation in view makes it boring to watch.
Do any of you know of any any editing software available that will allow me
to do the equivalent of zoom in and out (and after zooming pan) to add
interest to the shots? I can achieve the effect I want when _playing back_
via my camcorder (Panasonic MX8) but the effect is not output via the dv out
socket. It is output via the analogue but I don't want to resort to using
that except as a last resort.
TIA
Danny

Adobe Premiere will do that. Of course the more you zoom, the quality will
go down hill.

Premiere will do it. The audience for a wedding video won't care,
they just want to see the bride. You may not like the inevitable
change in quality. I really wouldn't bother.

Hi Danny,
Magix Movie Edit Pro will do this and a lot more. Only had it a couple of
weeks and am very impressed.

I do this with Adobe Premiere, however with any product you can only zoom so
far before you begin to notice a loss of quality.
