However I keep getting dropped frames in the output.......I can't work it out. The Hard drive had been defraged, and the read rate is 30mb's a second...well above the required 4MB/sec. Only possibility is that I have had a few dropped frames in the video I sampled.......but I edited them out, anyway they 'look' different to the dropped framed I'm getting in the output.. Try running EndItAll before doing any video work. Available from he http://www.pcmag.com/article/0,2997,...3D13656,00.asp Studio 8 is very demanding on memory, and even when you have a well spec'd PC all sorts of background task/programs can grab memory giving problems. EndItAll closes down everything but the essentials, freeing up your memory. After looking at other posts on this newsgroup, I have decided to ditch Studio 8 and use Vegas 4 instead. Seems to be much more stable and far less glitchy. |
