Default Digital TVs and subtitles?

Found a brilliant offer in Tescos for a digital TV, when I got it home and
set it up, I tried to get to the teletext and show the subtitles as I'm a
bit hard of hearing, on the present TV the subtitles are on page 888, but
putting that number into the Dig TV produced some rubbish, on trying to
select subtitles using the set up procedure, prompted a message telling me
to press a button on the set top box, which of course I did not have as it
was a Dig TV.

Does that mean I will be unable to select subtitles on any Dig TV?

You're probably a total ****tard, rather than the set not being able
to display subtitles, how about looking to see if the remote has the
button mentioned?...

Anyway, when your retarded brain cell finally works out how to post
your question the correct group, remember to quote what TV's model
number!

Sorry about this I obviously pressed the wrong button.

Please accept my apologies.

Don't worry about it. The bulk of posters to this group would have easily
recognised it as an error, and just ignored it. It takes a special sort of
dickhead to get upset about an honest mistake to the extent that he resorts
to profanity and personal abuse.

Please accept my apologies.
