Default AV camcorder pinout quesion.

Hi,
I realize this is a digital video group but I hope you can answer this
analogue camcorder question. My daughter purchased a Ferguson FC31 analogue
camcorder from a car boot sale. It has an AV connector on the back and I'm
trying to understand the pinout. I've pretty much answered my own question
but I'm not 100% sure if the connector is a 8 pin mini din, the pinouts are
an analogue standard, the audio is stereo (the manual does not give much
useful information).

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Peter.

IIRC that connector can also carry Y and C (luminance and
chrominance) outputs; rather like s-video. Whether the camera
supports those is another matter.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I'm struggling to find any information on this
camcorder. Do you happen to know what happened to Ferguson?

Cheers

Peter.
