 Preventing burn-in subtitles being recorded on Pinnacle TV Centre Pro I've just bought a Dazzle Hybrid Pro Stick (330e) which comes with Pinnacle TV Centre Pro software (V 4.70.1426 - no newer update available). This has an annoying habit of sometimes recording subtitles burn-into the MPG file, even though the option is turned off in the app. There's nothing in the Settings page which configures whether or not subtitles are to be burnt-in. I can't work out what's affecting it: I recorded two consecutive clips from the same programme and one had subtitles and the other didn't. It happens both with manual recordings (press the Record button) and timed scheduled recordings. For recordings that I want to keep, I don't want them marred by subtitles overlaid on the picture.   |
