| Hi, I am trying to connect a 29" color televison (CRT type) to my comp with gigabyt m'board and geforce 6100 nforce 400 through 15-pin to rgb cable. This shifts the display horizontally and distorts colors on the tv screen while using the seemingly best combination -800X600 @ 60 Hz. Can anyone help me out, please? |

Just a cable on it's own won't normaly work well (as you have found out) because the standards are different. You need a proper converter, of the type sold by Keene Electronics for example.
