Default Exporting back to tape in HD - with Canon HV20 - help!

Hi - I just got Movie Plus 5 today - its seems fine - but I'm not clear
whether it will allow me to edit in HD and export back to my shiny new Canon
HD Camcorder the HV20. It picked up HD output OK - and I tried exporting
back - but no luck. The Manual p5 says "HDV files can be imported and
exported". On p24, which p5 references it says, Movie Plus includes a
capture module that can "import" video from HDV ....cameras. Which it does,
noting the controls only apply to HDV,DV & Mini DV cameras. p28 covers the
HD format - and I have the XP2 service pack (any Vista support?). The main
core of the Manual describes the whole range of editing - which I didn't
really play with yet - but by page 190 - we get to export - but on page 192
mention only of DV format (with the export to DV camera) - but no mention of
export back to the camera of edited HD footage (which would be the MPEG2
based format mentioned on page 191. P197 spells out export to DV Camera. I
specifically asked about this when ordering. I realise that I need to
coordinate settings with the Camera - but using the brief reference on page
197 to Write file to DV Camera failed. I note that the HD files are 1440 x
1080 - not 1920 *1080 - the full HD format the Canon uses.

Any advice welcome - or I shall have to return the software and try
something else?!

John

Hi - yes. I posted to the Serif Movie Plus forum - but postings seem rare -
and no one has replied yet. I thought I might get a more rapid feedback in
the public newsgroup. I have tried again - mainly concentrating on the
camera settings - but still no luck.

Have you also posted to the Serif Forums via Serif's web site? I'll be
