Been trying a few methods without great success.

Pinnacle Instant DVD. Writes straight to DVD but very poor jerky picture -
recokon its dropping lots of frames to kkep the sound in synch. Yet The
Dazzle capture device works very well when converting VHS from my VCR.

Roxio Easy DVD Writer. The version I have imports as an avi file, then wants
to transcode to mpeg2 for the dvd. The whole operation takes hours for a
singletape. I gave up.

Sonic MyDVD. First tried this using the camcorder's usb2 connection (don't
have firewire on my HP Pavilion). The sound would not synchronise with the
video. Then I finally got it to work using Firewire but I have to use my
desktop pc. Geting good results.

Any better suggestions?
