| Archos, a leading maker of portable media players, has released their 404 player with an integrated camcorder. The seven ounce player has a 30GB hard drive and a 3.5-inch LCD screen that can display 320 by 240 pixels. A lithium-ion battery powers the player and Archos claims it can give up to eight hours of music playback or two and a half hours of video play..... http://ap-tech.blogspot.com/2007/02/...ntegrated.html Good Day!! |

Better still get - for about the same price - a 504 and have 80GB storage plus a 520 line res bullet cam The small monitor has to be seen to be appreciated - makes just about all other MP4's look like a poor joke! Furthermore you can record in near DVD quality and play back at full res through a normal TV! I bought two - one for special video recording tasks where HD cam is too big or cumbersome and the other is used mostly as a photostore when shooting 35mm digital and all my 8GB CF cards are full and I'm in the middle of nowhere. (I'm not buying any more 8GB CF cards until the price drops significantly - the first two cost me more then the Archos with its 80GB) I think a lot of folks could find some seriously good uses for devices like this!
