| OK here is an absolutely basic and newbee question. Many years ago I bought the above video card for my PC and had no intention of using the S Video I/P so paid no attention to the documentation or software that may have come with it. Now I have need of taking some video from a camcorder and editing it, very simply how do I get the video into the PC? What software would I need? I already use VideoRedo to edit some other material and am happy using that, it is just getting video into the PC to work on that is giving me grief. I know I should know where the documentation and software is but I don't! -- Bill |

If it's a reasonably new camcorder it's got a Firewire connector. The video card is redundant. If you haven't got a Firewire port on the computer, add one. They're cheap. Knowing WHICH camcorder you have would help :-) |
