Could be worth remembering if you'd rather buy from a local storefront
instead of a faceless Internet retailer:

That's the advice given way back in 2002 at:
http://www.camcord.info/buying though at the time the extra 10% wasn't
on offer.

We bought our XM1 in 2001, and they matched our best internet price then,
although I had no idea if it was just at the prerogative of the individual
store manager.

I now suspect that it's company policy rather than the whim(s) of
individual Jessops store managers, since I've never heard of anyone not
being able to negotiate price-matching based against an Internet price.
