Default Purelygadgets

I had an awful time with Purely Gadgets. They lie about stock, rarely
answer emails and are VERY hard to get on the phone.
I ordered a camcorder which was showing 2-5 days delivery. When I
chased them 7 days later they told me that "it is out of stock and will
be at least another 3 days"
I cancelled the order, asked for a refund and ordered from another
supplier.
24 hours later I had an email from P.G saying that the unit was on it's
way!!
I contacted them saying that I had cancelled the order and they told me
to refuse the delivery.
The unit from the other supplier arrived the day before the P.G unit
and it took well over a month before I got a refund (even then they
deducted £5 from the total)

I spoke to 2 seperate people (even though I tried to contact them quite
a few times) and one of them was quite rude telling me that they had a
refund process which can't be bypassed and I would have to wait for it
to work (this was 2 weeks after they told me that I would get my money
back straight away)

I'm amased that they can get away with the way that they treat
customers and I would recommend avoiding them like the plague!!
