Default Restore MiniDV record

Hi,
Is it possible in some way to restore missing data on MiniDV?
I have 3 records about mountain trip and only the last one(from
camcorder) is ok
2 others with no sound and squares(mosaic) in 25% of video (missing
data?)
Could you recommend any software or hardware to try to restore missing
data?
Thank you in advance
VO

Was the footage _ever_ acceptable? Have you tried cleaning the camera heads
and/or playback in a different camera? If the footage was recorded LP, have
you tried playback in the camera on which the footage was originally
recorded?

None of the above answers your question, because as far as I'm aware, if the
data on the tape is screwed, you've no recourse. It's possible that the
problem is with playback, though, and the tape data is OK, hence the above.
