Default Rotating an AVI file

I recorded some movie clips on my digi cam but forgot about the orientation
and some of the clips need rotating 90 degrees.

Does anybody know a way I can do this. What software would I need. The files
are all AVI files.

Also, does anybody know a piece of software that will loop sound files ? I
want to create a slideshow on a DVD and play background music. I thought
that I'd need to cut the music file, duplicate the music I want to loop and
then combine it all before importing it into my slideshow creation software.

Thanks in advance

Simon
