My D drive its formated as NTFS partition is there
any way I can change it back to FAT32 so I can have win98 on it as a
duel boot xp/win98 system.

the only way to change it back is to reformat the "d" drive as FAT32 (or
delete and recreate it)... make sure you have a backup of it's contents
first though as any data will be erased when you do this.

See my other post Stephen. Partition Magic allows you to convert any
hard disk while preserving the OS/programs/data without problems.

Yes (well, almost). Make sure you use PM v7 or later for XP as MS
made slight tweaks to the XP version of NTFS.
Another problem; If it contains existing files which are larger than 4GB,
you'll have to delete them first (using XP), as FAT32 can't handle files
larger than 4GB.
