Hi all,
i have a problem with my videocamera JVC GR-DX100.

First I am looking for a software to move the recorded video from my
camera to my PC. Is there any I can download?
If yes can you please post the website?

Second to move my video from my camera to the PC i just have a USB cable
provided when you buy the camera.
Do I need something else?

This is a standard problem with MiniDV cameras - the most useful
cable - Firewire - is never included!

You need a firewire cable, and if you don't have firewire on your
PC, a card as well. The combo of both can be bought for about £20
these days. I don't know how easily this can be bought or price in
Italy (but you *did* post in a UK group! grin)

If you are running WinXP then you have the download software, and
a straightforward editor allready installed - MovieMaker.

Probably a good thing!

Most of the boxed firewire card/cable combos available here come
with a slightly old copy of Ulead's software, which will get you going
nicely.
