Default Canon XM2 - motor noise

I have read one review which suggests that the Canon XM2 suffers from
picking up noise from the motor via the microphone.
How bad is this? I wasn't expecting to hear of this sort of problem with a
semi-pro camcorder, so I hope it's very slight.

It's always going to happen a bit with a built-in mic, especially if
the camera suffers from Automatic Volume Control. It's one of the
reasons pros (and semi-pros) use external microphones when sound
quality matters.
