Hi,

I wonder if anyone can offer any suggestions for my rather poorly MV300i DV
Camera

All of a sudden it's just stopped working. It's as if it has just locked
up. Just before it died it was displaying messages saying the battery pack
was exhausted and that I should remove the tape. When I put a new (charged)
battery on it still didn't do anything and the tape will not eject.

Is there any way to safely get the tape out and it there some sort of
"reset" button to clear the camera if it has locked up??

contact your local canon service centre...don't try playing with the camera
if it has locked and isn't working as you'll void the warranty. the service
centre will advise on the best course of action
