Default chanel numbers recording

Little annoying problem, any ideas how to rectify? Using Toshiba TV,
Telewest digi box, running through sanyo vcr. for example,


we are watching sky news, which is 602 on our tv. i now want to record ITV,
on the terrestrial system, ie,

through aerial, selecting channel 3 on video, brings in channel 9, back to
whatever we are waching, on telewest. ie, channel 3 in video is channel 9.

this has happened since we had digital upgrade from telewest. this was last
year, and we have put up with it, but want to try to rectify it now.

Hope this is clear enough!

No, not really. If you select 3 on the VCR then 3 should be recorded. If
it's been a problem since the digi box was installed, then maybe you can
call customer services.
