Stolen and counterfeit goods are two of the more serious problems


Though I've no evidence for this, I would have thought that the
popularity of eBay has led to an increase in house and car burglaries
because it's much easier to get rid of the loot. Certainly if I had
something specific stolen, I'd be tempted to keep an eye out for it on
eBay.
