Default Advice Re Camcorder

Hi

Im looking to get a minidv camcorder.
I had settled on a Canon MV850i

However, I would like the camcorder to have the facility to record
single shots at pre-determined time levels eg 1 shot at every 10secs
etc.

Anyone know of a camcorder that can do this? Im not interested in the
dvd format camcorders just the minidv.

Thanks for any help.

PS - if this isn`t the appropriate forum for camcorder queries, please
advise which forum is best.

The Sony TRV22 (& siblings) can record at intervals of 30s, 1min, 5min &
10min. Shooting sequences can be selected from 0.5s, 1s, 1.5s, & 2s.
Manuals are downloadable, so you can check out other models as the TRV22 et
al are no longer current.
Bear in mind that the camera's viewfinder (and/or display) stays on all the
time, so you may need a high capacity battery for a long session.
