Hi;

Not quite as simple as it sounds; I'm looking for a device that will
let me record something on ITV Meridian, while I'm a "Granada" address.

Usually, I'll just do it manually; but in a few weeks time I'm going to
be away, so I want some way of getting the digibox to press the tv
guide button, then select "other channels", then go down two spaces and
select Meridian; and half an hour later, press a "Sky" button and
change to a normal channel.

IR's been around for so long, I can't believe there's nothing simple
out there, but I can't see it - any ideas, anyone?

Especially if you post the wrong group !...

It's not like the difference between alt.bonking.lesbians and
uk.churchofengland.choirboys; but thanks for the thought; I'll give 'em
a go.

Ooops - many apologies; I just had a "video = VHS" and "Digital = well,
digital really". Sorry again; nd thanks for pointing me in a right
