Default Sony PSR PD 150, NTSC or PAL ??

Is there a way to tell if this camera is NTSC or PAL ?
I know the difference between the two formats but can't
find anything on the camera to suggest which one it is..

Thanks in advance,

Geoff

Yes, if you have access to the camera, put a rewinded PAL/NTSC tape with
footage into the camera. if the tape plays back with high quality video then
the camera must be the same type (PAL/NTSC) as the tape. If not, then the
opposite applies.

AFAIR Sony append an 'E' for PAL models, with no 'E' for NTSC.

No. In their "Professional" series, they add a "P" for PAL
NTSC= DSR PD 170
PAL= DSR PD 170 P
