| Have edited and assembled my AVI files, moved on to DVD creation and successfully burned a number of DVD's in PAL format. I want to send a disc to a friend in America and thought to make a NTSC format version of the DVD. At the last stage of the DVD creation set up I choose the option NTSC. It tells me some video info will be lost. ok. It then proceeds to convert the files. This takes about five hours, just as with the PAL disc. However when the last AVI file has been converted and the blue progress bar reaches 100% it stops and nothing else happens. It does not go on to burn the disc. No error message comes up but the only way out is to reboot. Using Windows explorer ir may be seen that temporary mpeg files have been created for each video clip, but these are not assembed into a iso file or anything else. Can Ulead Video Studio produce both PAL and NTSC format discs from the same source material? I'm using Ulead Video Studio 7 (SE), but have full V8, and could use that if it would help, but somehow I suspect it wouldn't make any difference. Do I need to select NTSC earlier in the DVD creation process? If Ulead cannot do it, what other application will create in both formats? Any thoughts or ideas appreciated. Roger |
