Hi All,
I hope some of you know this camera and can help me.
I have several newbie questions:
1. I bought the camera last year and it came with AV contact. With
difficulties I learned to view the films on TV but now I cannot anymore. I
follow exactly the instruction but the film does not appear on TV. The
camera has also S-video contact but I do not have the cabel. Shall i get
that cabel. Or is there any special arranngment on the menus which i do not
make right.

Thanks for your attention.

You need to plug in the cable from your AV out on the camcorder to the
AV-In socket(s) on your video player, normally these are 3 connectors
(Red/White/Yellow) on the front of your video player (Usually a
flip-down door on the left hand side somewhere)

Then turn your TV on to the Video channel, and put your Video on the
AV Channel that you have plugged the camcorder into, the AV Channel
can be known as AV1, AV2, AV3 it will probably be AV2 or AV3. You
normally swap through the AV channels by selecting the AV or AUX
button on the controller.

If you havent got the 3 Red/White/Yellow sockets then you will
hopefully have a scart adapter which is a little black adapter that
allows you to plug the camcorder into one of the sockets on the back
of the video.

Once you are plugged in press play on your camcorder and simply record
onto a VHS tape thats in the VCR.

If you cant find the correct AV channel, then press play on the
camcorder tape as this will display an image that you will be able to
see when searching through the different channels.

If you are lucky, some VCR's and TV' automatically switch to the
correct AV channel when you turn the camcorder on.
