| Hi, A friend of mine is using vegas 5 for editing his DV tapes. He is capturing the video, editing and then (hopefully!) printing back to DV tape. He has a problem: during the print to tape step, vegas creates a large pre-render file under C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Sony\Vegas\5\ (or something like that). Unfortunately, he does not have much space on his C partition and it fails when the partition has filled with the temporary files! The setting for captured video (or it may be called something like temporary files?) is set to another partition which has many GB free but this pre-rendering step for print to tape still uses the directory on C! We found the directory in the registry and set it to point at a directory on the larger partition but Vegas changed it back to the default when we ran it! :-( Is there any way of changing this, or is it a case of trying to free up some space on C (not going to be fun)?! Cheers, Laz |
