| I have a HDMI + HDCP DVD player (Pioneer DVR-920H to be exact), but only a DVI-D plasma screen. The DVD player refuses to play thru the HDMI output because the plasma does not accept HDCP. Does anybody know if there is a gadget on the market to fool the DVD player's output into thinking that my plasma is HDCP compatible, thereby letting me watch via the HDMI output?? (Is it likely that all that is necessary is to short a couple of pins together?) |
