| My Panasonic camcorder (NV-DS27) is playing up. It'll record seemingly happily but then on playback it'll appear as if the tape is blank - except once, tantalisingly, it showed a bit of what it should have recorded (a bit blockily) before refusing to play it again. Now it quite often demands to be Reset when I try to start it up. It seems a shame to throw it away but is it likely to be worthwhile repairing? And if so, where would be good to get it fixed? (I'm in Reading). |

(I'm in Reading). common fault with these camcorders, whatever you do dont record over the footage as the footage wil be on the tape and will have been recorded ok I hoped and guessed that so I haven't, though some stuff I've already recorded plays OK (even some bits after a bit that won't play) so I'm not convinced that it's recorded 100% OK. its the playback thats the problem, do a search around for panasonic camcorder problems youll see what your finding is a common problem Hmmn yes, but is there a common solution? :-) |
