I've had the box Lock up 4 times in the last week - (YELLOW DOT)
So have many others

http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/...&page=35&pp=25

the only way to fix is to reformat the hard drive inside the box....

I suggest Until Thomson fix the software 1.7.7 stay well clear !!!!!!

I'm posting this in hope Thomson release a update to make this bloody box
usable - at the moment its about as good as a house brick,, actually no a
house brick is more useful !

Pull your bloody fingers our Thomson and fix the box !!!!!!

Actually there are a few, though they're mostly just lame requests for info
about how to crack the encryption.

And yes, most messages are off topic.

Mine has been OK until I decided to try compressing some recordings to
"LP". It then started crashing quite regularly. Now it'll only boot up
without the aerial connected !

I think it may be possible to re-format the hard drive by holding down
some of the front-panel buttons - does anybody know the combination for
this ?

Pete.
