| In message , Rob D writes snipped.. I can only assume that the Bluetooth feature in (some) camcorders is something that a marketing droid thought up, with the idea of selling zillions more camcorders that have Bluetooth. On balance that's probably right. However, I have managed to send stills taken on a Sony digital camera (5 megapixel), then transferrred via memory stick to the camcorder (not mine - I don't have this "feature"), the sent via bluetooth to the phone and transported to someone in UK. The phone in question, Sony Erricson, does have cmaera built in but only 800k or thereabouts, so this somewhat contorted procedure has been of some use. I can't see it catchin on however! Thanks Rob. I don't think it likely that I'll be upgrading my mobile for Bluetooth for the pleasure of sending stills/low-res video :-) -- Tony Morgan http://www.camcord.info |
