Default Lemon Flavored Camera!!!!

Further to my earlier post about the Canon MV6iMC - took it back and got a
Sony TRV22.

Am I unlucky or what???

The Sony's video performance is really good, kinda getting used to the touch
screen, I like the stamina Info Lithium battery system, but........

It make a fairly loud buzz at the transition between each scene when played
back on the TV, the viewfinder or downloaded to my PC. I think it might be
something to do with the automatic recording level system when you tape in a
fairly quiet environment. The buzz lasts about half a second and occurs at
the start of EVERY new scene.

I've taken it back to Jessops and exchanged it for another one and this one
does the same thing !!

The phrase "pulling my hair out" springs to mind.

If anyone has a TRV 22 - when you film in a quiet(ish) environment - in the
garden for example, do you get any audible high pitched buzz at the start of
every scene when you play the tape back??

Is it worth paying extra and getting a TRV33 - is there any difference apart
from the slightly better still picture performance?? Don't need the still
picture facility at all as I have a reasonably good digital camera.

4th time lucky??

I'm pleased to hear that there are some TRV22's out there that are as good
as they're supposed to be. Jessops are getting another one in for me
tomorrow - who knows, third time lucky with the TRV22.

I will report back !!!

I am having this noise problem when pausing and restarting my JVC GRDVL320A.
When I examine the clips in Pinnacle 8 I find that the sound is on the end
of each clip (i.e. when the cam has been paused) It is not on the start of
the new clip (so it isn't starting the tape which causes the problem). If I
trim about 10 frames off the end of each clip I can get rid of the noise but
it is very time consuming.
