Nice, but not what I'm after. The crucial part I need is the horizontal
compression. I noticed the effect on the end credits for Seaside Rescue.
As
someone pointed out some channels now use the effect to run a programs
end
credits on the left of the screen whilst displaying a list of upcoming
programs on the right.

Is this it?

It's a bit long but widescreen and scrolling credits don't seem to scale
properly at lower resolutions. Probably do but haven't the time to find
out
how:-)

(This will only be up for 24 hours)

That right. I've already mangaed it quickly using editstudio. If you did
this with Vegas I would be interested how.

I am trying to replicate some end titles I've seen recently. In these
titles the video compresses horizontally to the left, thus allowing the
titles to scroll on the right.

I can make the "title" overlay using Microsoft Moviemaker, but I can't do
the compression using Sony Vegas. Vegas does have an FX which will
compress horizontally, but leaving the video in the center.

Anyone know of an editor which compress video horizonatly, with the video
fixed to the left or right sides?

Thanks for all your replys.
This is what I achieved so far mixing the moviemaker titles with the end of
a video using editstudio.
