When I add still pictures in a film with Premiere 6.5, the ones taken
vertically are pulled apart when incorporated in a film, so that
people look terribly fat. That only happens with pictures taken with
camera vertical (standing people etc..)
How can I avoid that "fattening" ?
Thanks and regards

I use a video effect on the picture (on the timeline): "Distort" -
"Transform" and move the scale width to 60%. Work for me

In your Preferences make sure you have "Maintain Aspect Ratio" for stills
ticked.
