| Hello, I've downloaded some ASF files from my Canon Optima 300 DV camera to my computer, but am unable to play them. The Canon manual states that Windows Media Player (WMP) will automatically download the necessary codec on first attempt to play a video. I have only been "partially successful," though; WMP launches IE and gives me a message that it is downloading the codec. But then I get a WMP Security Window popup stating that the download can't be completed because the publisher can't be verified. I've tried decreasing the security in my IE settings, but haven't had any greater success (Name: sg726acm.cab; Publisher: Unknown Publisher). I wondered if anyone had encountered this problem or can suggest a workaround. Thanks, Brett Shoelson |
