| Hi, i need some DV software to capture the whole Tape (1h) to 1 CD-ROM, i am using Vegas now to capture the Tapes, but the AVI needs lot of space! Is there a way to capture the DV in good Quality and size to only 1 CD-ROM? or have i to resize the screen to the crappy 320x288, what codec / software should i use? (i want to capture in realtime) Thanks, Mike. |

If you are short of disk space and your 1 hour tape consists of several scenes then capture each scene individually and compress to VCD PAL format (MPEG1 352 x 288) using something like TMPGEnc. Delete the DV capture file before starting the capture for the next scene. After you have converted all your scenes use Nero to burn a VCD using your MEPG1 files. |
