| I have been using the trial version of Premiere Elements, doing what I want to do with it and comparing it to Pinnacle 9 se which was pre installed on my PC. I was very happy that I could import wma files to use as soundtracks as this is what I rip my CD's to as a rule. I was VERY disappointed to find that the imported wma files are corrupted. I have gone back to Windows media player and checked and they play OK. I tried three different tracks and they were all imperfect when imported into PremElements. It also seems that you cannot alter the speed of a clip without dragging it to the end of the timeline then dragging it back when alterations are done, rather fiddly. The wma corruption is the killer though. I think I'm going to pay the 35 quid for the Pinnacle Upgrade Full 9 version. -- Muzz reply to uglyduck NOT spamfrog |

It might be worth confirming that this is a software bug and not just a bug with the installed software - or indeed something that has been crippled in the trial version IYSWIM. I wonder if the OP has taken the mater up with Adobe ? |
